10/6/2010: Dr. Evan Feldman leads the UNC Chapel Hill Symphony Band and Wind Ensemble in their opening concert of the year at Memorial Hall, including the 1812 Overture, complete with bass drum cannon fire scattered throughout the hall.
10/2/2010: Engineer Christian Amonson provides live sound for the "W&M Sings" event at the Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre. One night; eleven groups; four microphones; gorgeous sound.
10/1/2010: The William & Mary Wind Symphony, directed by Angela Holt, and the William & Mary Symphony Orchestra, directed by Akiko Fujimoto, perform in WM Hall to kick of "Family Weekend" festivities. Special congratulations goes to audio engineer Jeff Herrick for making the choirs sound better than any preview year!
9/20/2010: The Norfolk Chamber Consort presents a compelling program of Bach and Busoni, which was recorded by engineer Christian Amonson. Of special note was the performance of Cantata No. 106 played by Ruth Griffioen (recorder), Herb Watson (recorder), Tom Marshall (organ), Sarah Glosson (gamba), Wayne Moss (gamba), Jeff Phelps (cello), and the Countertop Ensemble! 9/16/2010: Symphonic band players from across the country converge in Williamsburg, VA to perform as the Williamsburg Consort. The guest conductor was Lt. Col. Larry Lang (Air Force Academy) and guest soloists were Maggie Worsdale (jazz vocalist) and Tom Puwalski (clarinet).
9/12/2010: The Liz Lerman Dance Exchange gives it second performance of "Matter of Origins". The sound design for this show was fucking amazing.

6/13/2010: Organist Oliver Wolcott performs at the First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, Virginia. The recital was performed in conjunction with the Tidewater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists installation of officers.
6/12/2010: Alina Alpino performs her senior harp recital at Williamsburg Regional Library Theatre.

5/30/2010: The Virginia Chorale performs their final concert of the 2009-2010 season at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. This may have been the best concert of the Chorale to-date. 12/12/2009: Arts Laureate records Handel's Messiah at Bruton Parish Church. Soloists included Scott and Amy Williamson, Lisa Relaford-Coston, and Barret Armbruster.
12/11/2009: Christian Amonson records the first night of Handel's Messiah at Bruton Parish. Microphone of choice was the Sontronics Apollo. The architecture of the church requires assymetrical placement of the choirs, prompting creative microphone placement. The results were stunning.
12/5/2009: Engineer Christian Amonson provides live sound, plus audio and video recording for PandemoniUM. Stand-out track of the night was the Chicago (Sufjan Stevens) and Clocks (Coldplay) mashup.

12/1/2009: Double Take, the premeire co-ed a cappella group from the College of William and Mary, performs their Christmas concert in the Commonwealth Auditorium. This was by far the best sounding concert ever engineered in the venue, courtesy of Arts Laureate's special approach to a cappella.

Dixon, Adolphus Hailstork, Libby Larsen, and Stephen Paulus. The Chorale gave the world premiere performance of their 25th Anniversary commission, The Little Fishes of the Sea, by Robert Convery.

3/14/2009: The Loudoun Symphony Orchestra records the first night of Donizetti's opera "Elixir of Love", produced in conjunction with Loudoun Lyric Opera. Soloists include soprano Theresa Bickham, baritone Daryl Ott, tenor Aurelio Dominguez, soprano Heather Bingham, and tenor Jason Buckwalter.
